Ulla-Carin Lindquist was born in 1953. She started working as a news anchor at Rapport, the Swedish evening news, in 1988, and soon became very popular.
In 2000, she moved with her family to Canada, and returned to Rapport two years later, as a reporter. Her last work day at Swedish Television was in spring 2003. She died in her home in March 2004.
